　　《血咒之城：月之詛咒》是曾參與多款《惡魔城》系列製作的遊戲創作者五十嵐孝司與 Inti Creates 共同製作、基於《血咒之城：暗夜儀式》世界觀的遊戲，採用 80 年代任天堂紅白機的 8 位元風格與玩法。
 
　　本次所發表的續篇作品《血咒之城：月之詛咒 2》將延續前作風格，同樣採用 8 位元畫面與傳統 2D 橫向捲軸動作過關玩法。遊戲中玩家將操作憎恨惡魔與鍊金術師的東洋退魔人「斬月」，挑戰魑魅魍魎潛伏的惡魔之城。途中與形形色色的夥伴相遇並結為夥伴。隨著具備不同技能的夥伴加入，深入闖蕩更廣大的區域。
